Visual Merchandising Competition
Theme: Secret Garden 2021
Applicants were asked to create a concept and mood board for a window display based on Dominican University's Fashion Show theme: Secret Garden. As the winner of the competition, I was given the opportunity to bring my concept to life and create a window display to promote the fashion show. Through this process, I was able to learn problem solving, how to build my conceptualization in real life, and how to source products, while working within a $100 budget.

Theme: Summer 2022
Applicants were asked to create a concept and mood board for a window display for the upcoming Summer Season. As a winner of the competition for the second year in a row, in collaboration with my visual partner, Celeste Morales, we developed a concept centered on color, beauty, and accessories trending for the season. By going through this process, I learned how combine both our creative visions to execute to showcase our individually unique talents, as well as further developing my skills on conceptualizing window displays.
As a way to advertise beauty and accessories, we created our own photo campaign in which featured one beauty shot and one accessory shot. We featured an outfit that I designed and the backdrop was hand-painted by both Celeste and myself.
